Russian tennis player Timofeeva will compete under the flag of Uzbekistan

Russian tennis player Maria Timofeeva will represent Uzbekistan at the competition, as evidenced by her profile on the website of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA).
Timofeeva is 21 years old and ranks 146th in the WTA rankings. On Sunday, she won the tournament in Quinta do Lago (Portugal), beating American Alexis Blokhina in the final. Her highest career ranking position is 93.
Since 2022, Russian tennis players have been participating in international competitions in a neutral status.
