Djokovic said he intends to play at the Masters in Paris in 2026
Former world number one Novak Djokovic, after withdrawing from the Masters in Paris, said that he intends to play in this tournament next year.
The tournament in Paris starts on October 27.
Earlier it became known that the 38-year-old Serb refused to perform in Paris, and his place in the main draw was taken by the Frenchman Benjamin Bonzi.
– Dear Paris! Unfortunately, I will not compete at the tournament this year. I have amazing memories of playing on the courts in Paris and winning seven titles. I hope that we will see each other next year,” Djokovic wrote on social networks.
Djokovic has won seven singles titles in Paris. The last time he succeeded was in 2023, when the Serb beat Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov in the final.
