World number two Jannik Sinner reached the quarterfinals of the ATP 500 tournament in Vienna.
In the second round match, the Italian, who received the first seed, beat compatriot Flavio Cobolli – 6:2, 7:6 (7:4). The meeting lasted 1 hour 48 minutes.
In the quarterfinals of the competition, Sinner will play against the representative of Kazakhstan, Alexander Bublik. The rivals played each other seven times on the tour, the score of head-to-head matches was 5–2 in Sinner’s favor.
