Kudermetova and Mertens reached the semi-finals of the WTA Finals in doubles

Russian tennis player Veronika Kudermetova and Belgian Elise Mertens reached the semi-finals of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) Final Tournament in Riyadh in doubles.
In the second match of the group stage, Kudermetova and Mertens (4th seed) beat Italians Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini (1) with a score of 6:3, 6:3. The meeting lasted 1 hour 20 minutes.
Kudermetova and Mertens scored two wins in three matches and finished second in Martina Navratilova’s group. In the semi-finals, the Russian-Belgian duo will play with Czech Katerina Sinyakova and American Taylor Townsend (2).
