Sabalenka beat Gauff and reached the semi-finals of the WTA Finals
The first racket of the world, Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, beat American Cori Gauff in the group stage match of the WTA Final Tournament in Saudi Arabia.
The meeting lasted 1 hour 29 minutes and ended with a score of 7:6 (7:5), 6:2.
Sabalenka won three out of three in the group stage and reached the semi-finals from first place. The Belarusian tennis player will compete with Amanda Anisimova from the USA for reaching the final.
In the other semi-final match, Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina will face American Jessica Pegula. Both games will take place on November 7th.
