Fritz beats Musetti in the ATP Finals match
American Taylor Fritz beat Italian Lorenzo Musetti in the group stage match of the ATP Final Tournament, which takes place in Turin.
The meeting of Jimmy Connors’ group ended with a score of 6:3, 6:4 in favor of Fritz, seeded sixth. The fight lasted 1 hour 43 minutes.
Musetti entered the Final Tournament following the withdrawal of Novak Djokovic (Serbia, 4), who withdrew from the competition due to injury.
In the next match, Fritz will play against the world number one, Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, and Musetti against Australian Alex de Minaur.
