Auger-Alassime beat Zverev and reached the semi-finals of the ATP Finals Tournament
Canadian tennis player Felix Auger-Alassime beat German Alexander Zverev in the group stage match of the ATP Finals Tournament, which takes place in Turin.
The final game of Bjorn Borg’s group ended with a score of 6:4, 7:6 in favor of the Canadian. The match lasted 2 hours 7 minutes.
The eighth seed of the competition, Auger-Alassime, made it to the semi-finals, where he will play against the first racket of the world, Carlos Alcaraz. In the second semi-final, former world ranking leader Italian Jannik Sinner (2) will meet Australian Alex de Minaur (7).
The semi-final matches will take place on Saturday. Sinner is the current champion of the tournament.
