The ATP Finals final between Italian Jannik Sinner and Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz was interrupted for 11 minutes due to a situation with a fan in the stands.
With the score 2:1 (40:40) on Sinner’s serve, the chair umpire announced that a spectator in the stands needed help and suspended the game. Soon medical workers appeared at the stadium. The fan’s condition is not known.
The final tournament in Turin ends the ATP tour season; at the end of the year, Alcaraz will retain the title of first racket in the world.
