Auger-Alassime rose to fifth place in the ATP rankings
Canadian Felix Auger-Alassime moved from eighth to fifth place in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings, a new version of which was published on the organization’s website.
Auger-Alassime reached the semi-finals of the ATP Final Tournament held in Turin, which was won by the Italian Jannik Sinner. For the 25-year-old Canadian tennis player, this is the highest ranking position in his career. The finalist of the Final Tournament, Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, retains the lead, Sinner is second.
Italian Lorenzo Musetti rose to eighth place in the ranking, American Ben Shelton dropped to ninth.
The best among Russians remains Daniil Medvedev (13th place), Andrei Rublev – 16th.
