Comeback: Svitolina and Kostyuk named the strongest of the tournament in Bengaluru
The exhibition team tournament started on December 17 World Tennis League In Bengaluru, India.
Ukrainian tennis players took to the court at 12:50 Kyiv time Elina Svitolina (WTA 14) and Marta Kostyuk (WTA 26). Elina plays for VB Realty Hawks and Marta plays for Aussie Mavericks Kites.
Elina won the one-set match 7:5. Svitolina lost with a score of 2:5, and Kostyuk failed to convert a total of four match points – 2 points each in the ninth and tenth service and return games, respectively.

Svitolina and Kostyuk played the second game of the match between Hawks and Kites. In the first one, Elina along with Maayai Rajeswaran Revathi defeated Marta and Ankita Raina 7:5.
Now the score of the match is 14:10 in favor of the Hawks. Two more fights will then be played: Denis Shapovalov / Yuki Bhambri – Dhakshineshwar Suresh / Nick Kyrgios and Denis Shapovalov – Dhakshineshwar Suresh.

Russian Karen Khachanov moved from 18th to 17th place in the ranking of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), a new version of which was published on the organization’s website.
The best among Russians remains Daniil Medvedev, located in 13th place, Andrei Rublev is 16th. There have been no changes in the top ten rankings: Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz is in the lead, Italian Jannik Sinner is second, and German representative Alexander Zverev is in third.
