The Italian national team without Sinner reached the Davis Cup final
The Italian men’s tennis team became the first finalist of the 2025 Davis Cup. The final of the Eight tournament takes place in Bologna, Italy.
In the semi-finals, the reigning champions of the tournament beat the Belgian team with a score of 2:0. Matteo Berrettini beat Raphael Collignon with a score of 6:3, 6:4, and Flavio Cobolli defeated Ziz Bergs – 6:3, 6:7 (5:7), 7:6 (17:15).
World number two Jannik Sinner does not play for the Italian national team due to severe fatigue after the end of the season.
The second finalists will be determined in the Germany-Spain game, which will take place on Saturday. The final will take place on Sunday.
