Italy won the Davis Cup for the third time in a row

The Italian men’s tennis team won the 2025 Davis Cup.

In the final, Italian tennis players played against the Spanish team and won with a score of 2–0. In the first meeting, Matteo Berrettini beat Pablo Carreno Busta – 6:3, 6:4. In the next singles match, Flavio Cobolli won a strong-willed victory over Jaume Munar – 1:6, 7:6 (7:5), 7:5, which brought the Italian team the title.

In the event of a draw in singles, the opponents would play a decisive match in pairs.

The decisive stage of the competition took place in Bologna (Italy) in the “Final Eight” format. The leaders of their teams, Italian Jannik Sinner and Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, did not play in the tournament.

The Italian national team won the Davis Cup for the third time in a row; the team has a total of four titles.
