Zvonareva reached the final of the ITF tournament in Dubai
Russian tennis player Vera Zvonareva reached the finals of the ITF tournament in Dubai.
On Saturday, in the semi-finals, the 41-year-old Russian woman defeated 16-year-old Briton Mika Stojsavljevic – 6:3, 6:7 (4:7), 6:4. The match lasted 3 hours 10 minutes.
Petra Marcinko from Croatia and China’s Gao Xinyu will meet in the second semi-final.
For Zvonareva, this is the first singles tournament since May 2024.
