Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev received the Arthur Ashe Prize for charity work, the ATP press service reports.

In March 2024, a 28-year-old Russian created a charity foundation to help children struggling with serious illnesses.

“I am very pleased to receive the Arthur Ashe Award.” We work very hard to improve our fund. We are learning, this is something new for us. It’s only been two years, so this award means a lot. We will continue to develop the fund, do more and better. Thank you very much,” Rublev responded to receiving the award.

In 2025, the Rublev Foundation announced a collaboration with the Bambino Gesu children’s hospital in Rome to provide medical care to children from low-income and disadvantaged families. In anticipation of the Rome Masters, Rublev visited this hospital, spent time with patients undergoing treatment, and gave gifts to children.

Previously, the award was also received by Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray, Andre Agassi, John McEnroe and other tennis players.
