Chinese tennis player Pan Renlong has been suspended for 12 years for organizing match fixing, the press service of the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) reports.

The 25-year-old admitted that he was involved in fixing five of his matches at the ITF World Tennis Tour M15, M25 and ATP Challenger 50 tournaments, and also made 17 attempts to bribe other professional players, as a result of which six more matches were fixed.

“Pang, who achieved a career-high world singles ranking of 1316th in November 2024, accepted the sanctions agreed with the ITIA and waived his right to a hearing before an independent anti-corruption body,” the press release reads.

The tennis player was also fined 110 thousand dollars.

The disqualification of Pan Renlong, who was temporarily suspended from competition since November 7, 2024, will last until November 6, 2036, subject to the payment of fines.
