Seven Russian tennis players will compete in the Australian Open qualifications
Seven Russian tennis players have entered the qualifying tournament for the Australian Open, the press service of the tournament reports.
The list includes Anastasia Zakharova, Alina Charaeva, Polina Yatsenko, Tatyana Prozorova, Elena Pridankina, Alina Korneeva and Anastasia Gasanova.
The Australian Open will take place in Melbourne from January 12 to February 1.
The current winner of the tournament in women’s singles is American Madison Keys, who beat Aryna Sabalenka from Belarus in the decisive match.
