Kyrgios defeated Sabalenka in two sets in an exhibition match in Dubai
Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios defeated world number one Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka in an exhibition match called the “Battle of the Sexes.”
The meeting took place in Dubai (UAE) and ended in favor of Kyrgios with a score of 6:3, 6:3.
According to the match regulations, Sabalenka and Kyrgios could only serve with the first ball – if they made a mistake, the opponent received a point. In addition, the size of the side of the court where the Belarusian played was 9% smaller than the standard.
Sabalenka is 27 years old and a four-time Grand Slam champion in singles and two-time in doubles. Kyrgios is currently ranked 671st in the world ranking, the highest position of the 30-year-old Australian is 13. In 2022, Kyrgios won the Australian Open in doubles.
