Russian Andrey Rublev reached the quarterfinals of the ATP 250 series tournament in Hong Kong.
Rublev (3rd seed) defeated Chinese representative Wu Yibing in three sets at the 1/8 final stage – 3:6, 6:2, 6:1. The duration of the match was 1 hour 39 minutes.
The Russian’s next opponent will be the Portuguese Nuno Borges (8).

Nadezhda Kichenok and her partner took second place at the Hobart start
Ukrainian tennis player Nadezhda Kichenok Won the opening doubles match at the WTA 250 hard court tournament held in Hobart, Australia.
With the Ukrainians in the first round Makoto Ninomiya (Japan) defeated Chan Hao-Ching (Chinese Taipei) / Jiang Xinyu (China) in two sets in 1 hour 38 minutes.

Ukrainian tennis player Yulia Starodubtseva (WTA 111) has made a successful start to the 2026 Australian Open qualifiers.
In the first round of the selection, the Ukrainian player beat the French representative in three sets Alice Tubello (WTA 431) in 1 hour 52 minutes.

Medvedev rose to 12th place in the ATP rankings
Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev has moved up one position in the ATP ranking, a new version of which has been published on the organization’s website.
