Russian tennis players Irina Khromacheva and Alexandra Panova failed to reach the doubles semi-finals of the WTA 500 tournament in Brisbane (Australia).
In the quarterfinal match, the Russians lost to the Ukrainians Lyudmila and Nadezhda Kichenok with a score of 2:6, 7:6 (7:2), 7:10. The meeting lasted 2 hours 4 minutes.
In the semi-finals, the Kichenok sisters will play against the pair Xie Shuwei/Elena Ostapenko (Taiwan/Latvia). There are no Russian representatives left in the doubles bracket of the tournament.
