Russian tennis player Diana Schneider was defeated in the third round of the tournament in Brisbane (Australia).
In the third round, the Russian woman, who received the 12th seed at the tournament, lost to American Madison Keys (5) with a score of 7:6 (7:5), 6:7 (5:7), 6:7 (4:7). The meeting lasted just under three hours.
In the quarterfinals, Keys will play against world number one Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka.
