The Polish national tennis team won the United Cup team tournament

The Polish team won the United Cup tennis team tournament, which took place in Perth and Sydney (Australia).
The Poles beat the Swiss team in the final with a score of 2–1. Swiss Belinda Bencic beat the second racket of the world, Poland’s Iga Szwiatek, with a score of 3:6, 6:0, 6:3. Then the representative of the Polish national team, Hubert Hurkacz, defeated Stanislas Wawrinka – 6:3, 3:6, 6:3. The decisive point for the Polish national team was brought by Katarzyna Kawa and Jan Zielinski, who prevailed over Bencic and Jakub Paul in the doubles match – 6:4, 6:3.
The United Cup took place for the fourth time. The Polish team won the tournament on the third attempt: in the previous two finals, the Poles lost to the teams of the USA and Germany.
