“Could you add more cities?” Medvedev asked the ATP to expand the geography of tournaments
Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev jokingly asked the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) to expand the geography of tournaments, since there were few cities left where he had not won titles.
On Sunday, Medvedev won the tournament in Brisbane, Australia, beating American Brandon Nakashima in the final with a score of 6:2, 7:6 (7:1). The Russian won this title for the first time in his career.
— Dear ATP World Tour, could you add more cities? “I’m running out,” Medvedev wrote.
Medvedev is 29 years old and has 22 trophies at ATP tournaments.
