Three Ukrainians are one step away from the establishment of the Aus Open. Who will they play with in the qualifying final?

The second round of qualification matches were held on January 14. Australian Open 2026.

advanced to the finals in the election three Ukrainian tennis players: Yulia Starodubtseva (WTA 110), Daria Snigur (WTA 136) and Angelina Kalinina (WTA 178). Vitaly Sachko (ATR 166) left the major.

Starodubtseva defeated Despina Papamikhail (Greece, WTA 160), Snigur defeated Carson Brenstein (Canada, WTA 179), Kalinina defeated Anouk Koevermans (Netherlands, WTA 192) and Sachko lost to Liam Draxl (Canada, ATP 145).

In the qualifying finals, Starodubtseva will face Victoria Tomova (Bulgaria, WTA 128), Snigur will compete with Alexandra Sasnovich (WTA 102), and Kalinina will compete with Maya Khwalinskaya (Poland, WTA 145).

The final round of Australian Open qualifiers will be held on January 15.

  • Q2: Daria Snigur – Carson Brenstein – 6:4, 4:2, RET., Brenstein
  • Q2: Angelina Kalinina – Anouk Koevermans – 7:6 (8:6), 6:0
  • Q2: Vitaly Sachko – Liam Draxl [20] – 3:6, 7:5, 6:7 (7:10)
