VIDEO. Canadian tennis player left the court in a wheelchair at the Aus Open
21-year-old Canadian tennis player Marina Stakusic (WTA 127) failed to complete the opening match of the 2026 Australian Open.
In the first round, the Canadian went to court against the Australian representative. Priscilla honey (WTA 121). Stakusic suffered severe cramps in the third set, fell on the court and then withdrew from the match.

Stakusic could not leave the field alone; Marina was taken in a wheelchair.
Hon and Stakusic faced each other for the second time. In 2022, Priscilla defeated her rival at the competitions in Vancouver.
In the second round of the Australian Open, Priscilla will face 29th ranked Iva Jovic from the USA.
