Alcaraz defeated Moutet. Two Aus Open men’s doubles 1/8 finals have been determined

Leader in ATP world rankings Carlos Alcaraz He confidently reached the 1/8 final at the 2026 Australian Open.

In the third round, the Spaniard confidently defeated Corentin Moutet (France, ATP 37) in three sets in 2 hours and 7 minutes.

Alcaraz managed to beat Moutet as well as Adam Walton and Yannick Hanfmann at the Australian Open. So far Carlitos is going without losing a set.

Alcaraz achieved his 87th victory in his first 100 Grand Slam matches. Only Bjorn Borg achieved more victories in this number of fights – 88.

Carlos’ next opponent will be American Tommy Paul (ATP 20), knocked out Alejandro Davidovich Fokina (Spain, ATP 14). Fokina lost the first two sets 1-6 and withdrew due to a hamstring/thigh injury.
