The first racket of the world, Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, broke Serbian Novak Djokovic’s record for the number of tiebreakers won in a row at Grand Slam tournaments, OptaAce reports on social networks.

On Saturday, Sabalenka beat Canada’s Victoria Mboko 6-1, 7-6 (7-1) to reach the quarterfinals of the Australian Open. Sabalenka won her 20th consecutive tiebreaker at Grand Slam tournaments and set a new record, surpassing Djokovic’s achievement (19).

“I’m upset now,” Djokovic responded to the record on social networks.

In the next round of competition, Sabalenka will meet with 18-year-old American Iva Jovic.
