Schwentek asked her opponent not to cry after the Roland Garros final, but ended up bursting into tears herself

The 2022 Roland Garros champion Iga Swiatek tried to calm her rival in the final, 18-year-old Corey Gauff, after the match, but in the end she herself could not hold back her tears.
Emotions swept over the 21-year-old tennis player at the trophy ceremony.
– I just asked Koko not to cry, but what am I doing now? Šwiętek said in tears. “Corey, when I was your age, I spent the first year on tour and had no idea what I was doing,” quotes the polka WTA Insider.
Šwiętek won 6-1, 6-3 and won the Roland Garros for the second time in her career. The tennis player has a winning streak of 35 matches. She is the first racket of the world.
