Halep easy, Collins escaped by falling

Simona Halep easily defeated Kovinic 2-0 to advance to the fourth round of the Australian Open. Collins escaped surprise.

It took Simona Halep almost an hour to qualify for the fourth round of the Australian Open. Romania (No. 14 on the board) beat Danka Kovinic 6-2, 6-1.

The world No. 98 couldn’t put up much resistance in Aleppo, who are performing well in Australia and sending out optimistic messages for the future.

On the contrary, we had a great derby between Towson (No. 39) and Collins (No. 30), with the latter eventually winning 2-1. The athlete from Denmark was the one who won the first set 6-4, to which the American responded with the same result.

So we were taken to the third set to be judged in the final, with Collins grabbing the crucial break to finish the set 7-5.

We also had a big match between Zidansek and Corne, with France (No. 61) qualifying 6-4 4-6 2-6.
