Tsitsipas: The incredible 5/5 in the quarterfinals of the Grand Slam
Stefanos Tsitsipas has reached the Grand Slam quarterfinals for the fifth time in his career, maintaining his incredible record as he is unbeaten.
Stefanos Tsitsipas (No. 4) qualified for the quarterfinals of the Australian Open after beating Yannick Sinner (No. 10) 3-0 in a set.
This is the third time Tsitsipas has competed in the semifinals of this particular Grand Slam and the fifth time in his career overall.
The impressive thing about the 23-year-old tennis player is that he has reached five quarterfinals and has an equal number of qualifiers, three of them against top 10 athletes.
As you will see in the table below, Tsitsipas eliminated Nadal, Medvedev, Bautista Agut, Rublev and now Siner in their quarterfinals.
At the same time, he has qualified once for a final in the four previous semi-finals.
