Tsitsipas: The semifinals of the Australian Open are expected to take place on Friday afternoon
The program for the semi-finals of the Australian Open has become known, with Stefanos Tsitsipas expected to start his fight on Friday afternoon (01/28).
As usual, the women’s dashboard will open the program of the semi-finals in the final of this year’s Australian Open.
Ashley Barty and Madison Keys will play on Thursday (1/27) in a match that gives the 1st ticket for the finals on Saturday (1/29) and is not expected to start earlier 10:30 a.m.
Then follows Daniel Collins’ match with Iga Sfiodek, where the pairing is completed for the women’s grand final.
The semi-finals of the two men will take place on Friday (January 28), with Rafa Nadal and Mateo Beretini entering the Rod Laver Arena court first 10:30 a.m, while immediately afterwards Stefanos Tsitsipas qualifies for the 2nd Grand Slam final of his career, facing Danil Medvedev and Felix Ozer Aliasim.
Remember that at dawn on Thursday (approx 05:00) will begin Michaela Laki’s quarter-finals in the junior category, with the 16-year-old Greek tennis player taking on 16-year-old American Liv Howdy for a place in the semi-finals of the tournament.
