Η Μπάρτι έδειξε από νωρίς τις άγριες διαθέσεις της καθώς ξεκίνησε με break επί της Κις, με το πρώτο σετ να βρίσκει την Νο 1 του ράνκινγκ να παίζει με περίσσια αυτοπεποίθηση και χωρίς καθόλου τρακ (από την παρουσία κόσμου που τη στήριζε) και να φτάνει σε ένα επιβλητικό 6-1 μέσα σε 26 λεπτά.
Στο δεύτερο σετ η Αμερικανίδα αντίπαλός της κράτησε τα δύο πρώτα σερβίς της στέλνοντας μήνυμα αντίστασης όμως η Μπάρτι έκανε το break στο έκτο game και από εκεί και πέρα το μόνο που είχε να κάνει ήταν να διατηρήσει το σερβίς της, όπως και έκανε, για να φτάσει Στο 6-3 και να πανηγυρίσει την παρθενική πρόκρισή της Σε τελικό Australian open μετά από 1 ώρα και 2 λεπτά αγώνα.
Όσον αφορά στην αντίπαλό της στον μεγάλο τελικό, αυτή θα προκύψει από το ζευ Ίγκα Σβιόντεκ (νο7) – ντανιέλε κόλινς (νο 30), που συνθέτει τον Δεύτερο ημιτελικό του τουρνουά.

American tennis player Iva Jovic has reached the quarterfinals of the Grand Slam tournament in Australia.
In the 1/8 final match, Jovich, who received the 29th seed, beat the representative of Kazakhstan, Yulia Putintseva, with a score of 6:0, 6:1. The meeting lasted 54 minutes.

18-year-old Jovich swept Putintseva off the field and reached the quarter-finals of the Aus Open
18 year old American tennis player Iva Jovic (WTA 27), reached the quarter-finals of the 2026 Australian Open.
In the fourth round, the young American defeated the representative of Kazakhstan. Yulia Putintseva (WTA 94) in 53 minutes.

40-year-old Swiss tennis player Stan Wawrinka (ATR 139) played the last match of his career at the Australian Open.
In the 1/16 major final on January 24, the Swiss lost to the world’s ninth ranked Taylor Fritz of the USA in four sets in 2 hours 45 minutes.
Wawrinka managed to outperform Laszlo Gyore and Arthur Hea in Melbourne. He spent a total of 10 hours and 24 minutes on the field over the course of three fights. Stan will end his professional career in 2026.
After the meeting ended, Wawrinka, who brought two cans of beer with him during his farewell speech, shared his last minutes on the field with Australian Open director Craig Tiley.
“This was my last time on the court as a player. I’ve gone through so many emotions over these 20 years, all thanks to you. It’s been an incredible journey. I won my first Grand Slam here. Wawrinka won the Australian Open cup in 2014. He has 45 wins and 19 losses on Melbourne courts.
