Tsitsipas: His semi-final with Medvedev with the roof closed
The rain forced the Australian Open organizers to hold the match between Stefanos Tsitsipas and Daniel Medvedev with the roof closed.
It may be summer in Australia and the temperatures can be very high, but the rain has started to fall in the last few days.
The same thing happened on Friday (01/28) and the organizers didn’t want to take any chances. So it was decided that the semifinals of Stefanos Tsitsipas with Danil Medvedev should be held with the roof closed.
Of course, this also changes the dates of the game, since there are different conditions inside and different outdoors. However, both are excellent for indoor use.
We remind you that the rain caused problems in the quarterfinals since the organizers were slow to close the roof and the games were stopped until the pitch was wiped.
