Tsitsipas exceeded 15 million euros in cash prizes
Stefanos Tsitsipas’ attendance at the Australian Open ended with the Greek tennis player depositing €567,000 into his bank account with his total cash prizes exceeding €15 million.
Stefanos Tsitsipas failed to overcome Daniel Medvedev’s obstacle and qualify for the Australian Open final.
The 23-year-old tennis player may have ended his presence at the first Grand Slam of the year but will not leave Australia empty-handed.
Instead, he will deposit around €567,000 into his bank account. With that money added to his rosary, he’s one step closer to being in the top 30 of all time in cash prizes.
Specifically, he reached 15.26 million euros and is thus in 33rd place on the relevant list. On the other hand, Medvedev overtook Tsonga and is in 16th place.
