There are successes that even great athletes like Rafael Nadal find difficult. Like turning a game 2-0 behind goal.

Rafa managed against Daniel Medvedev to win his 21st Grand Slam title, albeit only for the fourth time and at the same time for the first time in 14 years.

The first time he did so was in 2005 in the final of the Madrid champions. Ivan Ljubicic then easily won the first two sets 3-6 and 2-6, but Rafa sent the match into the fifth set, which he won in the tie-break.

But there is also a Grand Slam where the last such fall in a final made history. We’re talking about Wimbledon, where he last saw such a reversal in a final almost 100 years ago.
