Australian tennis player Nick Kirios called the first racket of the world Russian Daniil Medvedev a beast before the second round match of the Masters tournament in Montreal.
In the first round of the tournament, Kyrios defeated the Argentinean Sebastian Baes with a score of 6:4, 6:4.
— Medvedev is a damn good player. His style is very unusual, he is a great opponent and just a beast. I’m looking forward to seeing what level I’m at.
Physically I feel good. Psychologically, I’m just very tired. I haven’t slept in the last couple of days, but I try to forget about it. I didn’t play very well in Montreal in the past, so I wanted to go out and win so I could play the next match against Medvedev. It will be a lot of fun. I just want to leave good memories of Montreal, ”the ATP official website quotes Kirios as saying.
The meeting between Medvedev and Kirios will take place on Wednesday.
