(Vancouver) Eugenie Bouchard has obtained an invitation which will allow her to participate in the Challenger tournament in Vancouver.
The competition will take place from August 14 to 21.
Former world number 5, Bouchard will be in her first tournament since March 2021, when she injured her right shoulder in a competition in Mexico.
The 28-year-old from Westmount underwent shoulder surgery in June 2021.

Bouchard delivered an outstanding season in 2014, reaching the final at Wimbledon, as well as the semi-finals in Australia and Roland-Garros.
