Panathinaikos Men’s Volleyball: Against Spartak Miyava for the Challenge Cup
The Panathinaikos men’s volleyball division will be thrown into the European fight with first opponent Spartak Miyava for the qualifying round of the Challenge Cup on Tuesday (10.11., 20.00, Cosmote Sport 6).
The Panathinaikos volleyball team has been in Slovakia since Monday morning (10/10) when their official duties begin with Spartak Miyava as the first opponent (11/10, 20:00, Cosmote Sport 6).
Last season, on the return of the “cloverleaf” to European competitions, coach Andreopoulos’ athletes managed to reach the semi-finals of the Challenge Cup, marking a great course.
Tomorrow they will test their strength against the Slovakia team and hope for a good result that puts them in an advantageous position for the second leg in OAKA on Wednesday 19 October at 18.30 CET.
Panathinaikos libero Dimitris Zisis said of tomorrow’s game: “We start our official duties with a European game and we have to be as efficient as possible in all areas and leave Slovakia victorious. Of course, the team had some injuries and we couldn’t work together for a long time, but it’s me.” sure that step by step we will reach the desired level”.
