Women’s Volley League: Panathinaikos won but lost a point, PAOK easily
Panathinaikos defeated Markopoulos 3-2 but lost a point while PAOK easily defeated Panaxiakos in postponed Women’s Volley League matches.
The Women’s Volley League Championship resumed with two games postponed for Game 19 and Game 20. Panathinaikos met Markopoulos away and won, but lost a point after a 3-2 win. While PAOK easily defeated Panaxiakos.

Volleyball players of Kazan “Zenith” won the Russian Super Cup for the 11th time
Kazan “Zenit” became the winner of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
On Friday, the Kazan team beat Lokomotiv from Novosibirsk – 3-1 (25:19, 25:17, 23:25, 25:21).
Zenit won the Russian Super Cup for the third year in a row. In total, the Kazan team has a record 11 victories in the tournament. Lokomotiv took part in the decisive matches for the trophy four times, but were defeated each time.
For the first time in history, the Russian Super Cup was held in the Final Four format. All meetings took place in St. Petersburg.

Novosibirsk Lokomotiv defeated Dynamo Moscow in the semi-finals of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
