Women’s Volleyball League: PAOK, Olympiacos, AEK and Panathinaikos went on with three points
Without surprise, the women’s volleyball league went on, with PAOK remaining on top with 7/7. Olympiacos struggled against Aris, clearing three points for AEK and Panathinaikos.
PAOK only had problems with one set. who played 7×7 against the tailed ZAON. Dikefalos quickly made big differences in the opening two sets (10-7 in the first becoming 14-7 and 9-6 in the second becoming 13-7) despite Feolio having pulled Vergidou, Krol back by the end of the first set.
In the third, where Kiki Terzoglou made his debut that year, ZAON (who competed with an all-Greek composition) was able to be more competitive and managed to equalize with 17-17 and 19-19 while reducing to 22-21 ( from 22 -19) but could not achieve anything.

Olympiacos struggled against Aris but took the three points
Olympiacos had a heartbeat against Aris but took the three points and stayed at -3 from pioneer PAOK.
The red-whites started the match impressively and easily won the first set, but Aris (who had Montano instead of Strumilo in his line-up for the first time) went into the match after 1-0.
Leading 1-5 in the second set, Olympiakos turned it to 11-9 but at 15-15 it became 16-21, Olympiakos equalized 22-22 but two attacks from Tshumba took the final to 23-25.
Aris led 2-7 with the “Guten Morgen” in the third set and when Olympiacos narrowed to 7-9 they increased again (7-12) to 10-16. Here Salas made the switch, Koumboura’s serves taking the result to 13-16 and at 13-17 a good new run by Salas took it 17-17 for Olympiacos to lead 20-19 for the first time and reach 21. 19 with the ace of Christodoulou. Aris couldn’t come back and the set ended with an out attack from Robinson.
The match essentially ended there as Olympiacos quickly went 8-1 in the fourth set and never faced any threats.

Panathinaikos easily 3-0 in Thetida
In the duel of the Europeans, Panathinaikos defeated Thetida 3-0 in the closed Agios Thomas. Panathinaikos was impressive in the opening two sets of the game, managing to create many problems in receiving Thetida and overcoming them with relative ease.
In the first, 8-5 became 11-5 and a little later the difference reached 17-8 and 20-9, while Thetis lasted a bit longer in the second (5-5, 10-9, 13-9), becoming 14-12 however 19-13 and that was the end of the set.
In the third set, Louka launched a ground diagonal into Thetida with the visitors taking the lead (1-3, 3-6, 5-8) for PAO to make their first pass at 13-12 and open the gap there reached at 19-15. However, Thetis, with a block from Papageorgiou and an out from Anthoulis, reduced it to a point (19-18). Two attacks from Medić gave PAO a three-point lead again, with Serva Central taking the next points (22-29, 23-20) and Anae taking the final 25-21.
