League Cup Volleyball: Panathinaikos and PAOK for qualification lead
On Monday afternoon (12 May, 4.30 p.m.) Panathinaikos and PAOK will face off in the first game of the quarter-finals of the League Cup in men’s volleyball.
The derby between Panathinaikos and PAOK, which will be held at Agios Thomas Gymnasium, will conclude the first series of the Nikos Samaras League Cup quarter-finals (May 12, 4:30 p.m., live streaming PAO TV).
Almost a month after their match in Agios Thomas for the championship, Panathinaikos and PAOK also meet for the Nikos Samaras League Cup.
In the 2021/22 season, they were opponents in the semifinals, with PAOK winning the first game 3-2 and Panathinaikos winning the second leg in OAKA 3-0 sets.
This year marks the second season in which Nikos Samaras duels in the League Cup. Both teams have busy schedules while also having outstanding accounts in the Super Cup.
Panathinaikos comes from winning the derby against Olympiakos and PAOK comes from beating Milos.
In 76 league games, Panathinaikos leads by 47:29 wins.
