Olympiacos – PAOK 3-1: The red and white are winter champions
Olympiacos defeated PAOK 3-1 in a set to finish the first round of the Men’s Volley League Championship in first place.

In the third set we saw another game. PAOK prevailed from the start, creating and holding a 2-4 point difference for most of the set.
Olympiacos were even reduced to a point in the final, with Hidalgo’s serves doing the damage, but PAOK managed to finish the set 25-23 and reduce it to 2-1 with a block-out attack from Den Dries.
At the beginning of the fourth set he went full throttle and took a 7-1 lead. PAOK immediately conceded the difference and reduced it to one point.
From there, the two teams progressed point by point until the final of the set, with Stern being the one who got hard attacks and basically finishing the match 25-22 and 3-1 set.

Volleyball players of Kazan “Zenith” won the Russian Super Cup for the 11th time
Kazan “Zenit” became the winner of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
On Friday, the Kazan team beat Lokomotiv from Novosibirsk – 3-1 (25:19, 25:17, 23:25, 25:21).
Zenit won the Russian Super Cup for the third year in a row. In total, the Kazan team has a record 11 victories in the tournament. Lokomotiv took part in the decisive matches for the trophy four times, but were defeated each time.
For the first time in history, the Russian Super Cup was held in the Final Four format. All meetings took place in St. Petersburg.
