Foinikas Syrou announced Aleksandar Senisic for the end of his bench
Aleksandar Senisic is the one who will take over the technical leadership of Foinikas Syros after the departure of Dimitris Kazazis, the team has announced.
THE Aleksandar Senisic is the new coach of Foinikas Syros, the Serbian technician replaces Dimitris Kazazis who has left following a decision by the Syrian government.

“Finikas Syros ONEX announces the hiring of head coach Aleksandar Senicic. With a long tenure at both club level and national teams, the Serbia coach will see Fenikas’ bid to advance to the second round of the league in all competitions he takes part in.
Aleksandar Senisic was born on February 15, 1964, played for 16 years as a passer at Serbian clubs Ribnica (1978-91), Smederevo (1992-93) and Mladic Radnik (1993-94) and started his coaching career from 1997, initially as assistant coach in the national team of Serbia (1997-2001) and then in the national teams of Bahrain (2006-09) and Kuwait (2021-22).
At the same time, he returned to Ribnica at club level, now as a coach (1994-97), to Mladic Radnik (1997-2004), to Bulgarian Pirin in 2005, and then started his career in the Gulf countries. First as coach of the Bahrain national team and the next 12 years with Kazma, with whom he won many leagues and cups.
In his first statement on foinikasclub.gr, the veteran coach said: “I decided to take over Foinikas because it is a team with good organization, high expectations and great players. Something that was confirmed to me by my colleagues from Serbia who have gone through the club.
My personal ambitions are always high. The aim is to create a good atmosphere game after game which, in combination with dynamic training, brings results that speak for themselves. In this regard, I ask for honesty and commitment from players, as I believe their goals align with mine.
Finally, I would like to thank the club management for believing in me and giving me this chance. I can’t wait to get started.”

Volleyball players of Kazan “Zenith” won the Russian Super Cup for the 11th time
Kazan “Zenit” became the winner of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
On Friday, the Kazan team beat Lokomotiv from Novosibirsk – 3-1 (25:19, 25:17, 23:25, 25:21).
Zenit won the Russian Super Cup for the third year in a row. In total, the Kazan team has a record 11 victories in the tournament. Lokomotiv took part in the decisive matches for the trophy four times, but were defeated each time.
For the first time in history, the Russian Super Cup was held in the Final Four format. All meetings took place in St. Petersburg.

Kazan “Zenit” reached the final of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup
Kazan “Zenit” defeated “Zenith” from St. Petersburg in the semi-finals of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
The meeting in St. Petersburg ended with a score of 3-2 (25:20, 25:17, 18:25, 23:25, 15:12) in favor of the Kazan team.
In the other semi-final earlier on Thursday, Lokomotiv Novosibirsk defeated Dynamo Moscow in four sets.
The final match between Lokomotiv and Zenit will take place on Friday, starting at 19:30 Moscow time.

Novosibirsk Lokomotiv became the first finalist of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup
Novosibirsk Lokomotiv defeated Dynamo Moscow in the semi-finals of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
