Panathinaikos defeated OFI 3-0 in Maroussi, while Phoinikas defeated Athlos Orestiadas away by the same result.
Panathinaikos picked up speed by winning the Supercup and easily defeated OFI in a 3-0 set. The Greens showed a good victory before the crucial games against Orion in the Netherlands and PAOK in Thessaloniki.

Winning debut for Senisic
Phoenix ONEX, with new coach Aleksandar Senisic on the bench and top two wingers Klinkenberg and Fromm, Athlos clinched a resounding 3-0 win in Orestiada, crediting him with a valuable three points and taking a deep breath to continue the championship.
The match in the final was nerve-wracking and marked by a red card for Dimitris Rizopoulos and two refereeing errors as Athlos was not deducted a point when Athlos initially gave the ball to Athlos after a foul after a serve from Kasambalis, but as seen the video, the ball was out. Both Foinikas and Athlos received a point, while Rizopoulos received a red card after the protests, which did not count towards the score. So instead of 18-24 it was 20-23.
Overall it was a game with nice phases and a strong final between the two great teams. Phoenix’s first scorers were Fromm and Klinkenberg with 15 points each, while Athlos fell behind offensively and had Algoul as the first scorer with 11 points.
