The “Blue-Whites” kept the safety advantage through points from Ricardo and Okosanovic and finally won the set with 25:18 after an outside attack by Papageorgiou.

Chevers’ back-to-back aces early in the second set and Torres’ error gave Kifisia an early 6-3 lead. In developing the counterattack, Okosanovic made it 8:4, but Chelios’ block gave the home side “air to breathe”, reducing to 8:6. Multiple misses by both teams followed, with Kifisia maintaining a small 9-8 lead. Later in the set, Chevers’ pressing service and Okosanovic’s and Ricardo’s counterattacks made it 15-8.
