Important step for the Panathinaikos women’s volleyball team after the Greens announced the acquisition of center Jennifer Cross, who is returning to the team just months after her departure.

“Panathinaikos Athletic Club announces the start of its renewed collaboration with Jennifer Cross for the women’s volleyball division.
A great mid-season transfer move for Panathinaikos as they once again added Jennifer Cross to their dynamic team.
The 31-year-old Canadian center (6’1″) is returning to the clover with which she won the double last year and is returning to help maintain the successes.

Kazan “Zenit” became the winner of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
On Friday, the Kazan team beat Lokomotiv from Novosibirsk – 3-1 (25:19, 25:17, 23:25, 25:21).
Zenit won the Russian Super Cup for the third year in a row. In total, the Kazan team has a record 11 victories in the tournament. Lokomotiv took part in the decisive matches for the trophy four times, but were defeated each time.
For the first time in history, the Russian Super Cup was held in the Final Four format. All meetings took place in St. Petersburg.

The meeting in St. Petersburg ended with a score of 3-2 (25:20, 25:17, 18:25, 23:25, 15:12) in favor of the Kazan team.
In the other semi-final earlier on Thursday, Lokomotiv Novosibirsk defeated Dynamo Moscow in four sets.
The final match between Lokomotiv and Zenit will take place on Friday, starting at 19:30 Moscow time.
