Men’s Volleyball League: PAOK defeated OFI to advance to second place
PAOK won a 3-0 set against OFI and overtook Panathinaikos in Men’s Volleyball League standings.
PAOK climbed to second place in the men’s volleyball league, winning the Pylaia indoor game with a 3-0 set by OFI.
Capitalizing on Panathinaikos’ defeat in Syros, the big head of the North eluded the Greens by three and stayed at -5 from Olympiakos.
The PAOK players had a solid reception, pressing from the service line and scoring 7 aces, with OFH missing Giorgos Tzioumakas for the second year in a row, failing to look competitive.
Belarusian center Maxim Skrentau made his debut for the hosts, who scored 6 points with 4/9 attacks and 2 blocks. First scorer was Van De Dries with 16 points, Alexandros Raptis with 15.
