Olympiakos qualified comfortably for the quarter-finals of the CEV Cup
Olympiacos also played in the Czech Republic against Dukla Liberec and, together with “Melina Merkouri” 3-0, qualified for the quarter-finals of the CEV Women’s Cup.
Olympiacos got the two sets they needed early in the Czech Republic, scoring a 3-1 win and being knocked out 3-0 by ‘Melina Merkouri’ Dukla Liberec and reached his quarterfinals CEV Cup.
The Greek team struggled in the 1st set but managed to win it 25-22. In the 2nd he took the lead again and kept it, although the home side came back into play and were able to equalize. The red and white team managed to go 25-23 and qualified for the next stage.
Olympiacos has qualified for the top 4 teams of the competition, but with the completion of this phase (playoffs) the top 4 third teams from the Champions League groups will also take part in the competition.
