Tensions ran high about an hour before the Panathinaikos-Olympiakos derby when the police used tear gas, resulting in a suffocating atmosphere at the Amarousi Stadium.
Around an hour before the start of the second semi-final of the Challenge Cup between Panathinaikos and Olympiakos, there was tension outside the Amarousi Stadium.
According to initial information, some sports fans tried to enter the closed stadium without a ticket, and the police used tear gas to drive them away.
One of them exploded at the entrance to the closed Amarousiou, creating a suffocating atmosphere inside.
The missions of the two teams went to the dressing room until the atmosphere calmed down, while the rest who were inside the fence (fans and journalists) went out.
Given the start of the game will be too late. We remind you that the first service should take place at 7 p.m.
