A police officer was injured in the clashes ahead of the Panathinaikos – Olympiakos semifinals
The volleyball match between Panathinaikos and Olympiakos was scheduled in the closed gym of Agios Thomas. A group of about 200 Panathinaikos fans tried to enter without a ticket and clashed with police forces, injuring one police officer.
Tension was felt after 6pm in the closed gym of Agios Thomas where at 7pm the volleyball match between Panathinaikos and Olympiakos would start.
A group of around 200 Panathinaikos fans tried to enter without a ticket and clashed with the police forces, resulting in an injured police officer who had items taken by the police forces.
Eventually, it was decided that the match would be played behind closed doors, so the Panathinaikos fans who had entered the stadium earlier were also removed.
