PAOK continued their excellent course, winning a 3-0 set against Aris and remaining at the top of the Women’s Volley League. Wins for AEK, Panathinaikos and Olympiakos.
PAOK defeated Aris 3-0 in the Thessaloniki derby to stay top of the table. Dikephalos maintained his home unbeaten streak, with Aris only being competitive in the second set of the game
In the first set, Krol’s serves let PAOK escape at 8-2 and a little later hit +7 (11-4), while on Ari’s approach (14-10) Krol again helped PAOK up to 18-10 from the endline to easily level it to 1 to make -0.
In the second set, too, the black and white quickly made it 16:9 (10:5). There, the Feolio athletes made mistake after mistake, and Aris ran his own streak for 16-14. Although PAOK went 18-14 again, Aris reduced the score to one point (20-19) with a block from Tani. But at 21:20, Krol and Cafrei made the difference for PAOK (24:2), with the former dominating the final with 25:22.
Dikefalos also started better in the third set, leading 5-1 and 12-6, while Peyton Caffrey ended the game from the service line (going from 13-7 to 17-7).

It was difficult but Olympiakos won
Olympiakos came out of the cup ban and beat AO Markopoulos Revoil 3-0. The final result doesn’t do justice to the performance of AOM, who bowled twice in the 2nd set (and six chances overall), was competitive in all sets, but paid for the many errors he made (25).
In the first set, after 6-6, Olympiacos escaped 9-6 and maintained the difference to the end with relative ease, with 64% effectiveness in attack.
However, the scene changed in the second set, with AOM leading 2-6 to 13-20 by scoring 2-3 and in 12-14 with single shots. Olympiacos reduced to 17-20, but Markopoulos reached +6 again (17-23) and even lost on a counterattack. There Olympiacos (playing with Christodoulou, Tsitsigiannis from 13-17) came close to the point (22-23), with AOM achieving a double bowl set. Lambrousi erased the first with a block, Salas erased the second with an attack to follow Fitterer’s mistake to 25-24. From that point it was a great thriller, with back-to-back errors and score changes to get to 31-31, where a miss from Leatham and a block from Winters ended the set.
Markopoulos tried to get back in the game and managed to turn 9-7 into 9-12 in the 3rd set, but at 15-15 Olympiacos escaped 19-15 and managed the difference that reached the final 25-21 .
